“The building’s clear design language reacts to existing structures and typical local materials, re-interpreting them in a more contemporary form. The simple basic form of the gable-roofed house is painted completely white, counteracting overheating in the loft. The continuous adjustment of the expanded metal shutters provides optimal sun protection, while their movement generates an attractive movement across the façade. An interesting building that integrates into the environment while still managing to stand out.“ – statement of the jury
